Why Us?
Anti-Discrimination Policy
UWEMA Quality Care believes that equal opportunity is important for the continuing success of our organization. In accordance with state, federal, and municipal laws, this agency intends to comply with these laws which preclude negative discrimination because of race, disability, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, military status or any other protected classification. UWEMA Quality Care defines “negative discrimination” to include (but not limited to) denial of services, employment, participation in programs, or contractor opportunities to any class of individuals in a manner that negatively restricts opportunities to that class of individuals.
Community Integration Plan
UWEMA Quality Care will ensure that all of its HCBS Settings are person-centered, integrated and supports full access of individuals to the greater community, including opportunities to seek employment and work in competitive integrated settings, control personal resources, receive services in the community, and engage in community life, including with individuals who are not paid staff/contractors and do not have disabilities, to the same degree of access as individuals not receiving HCBS.
Safe Environment
UWEMA Quality Care expects employees and contractors will provide services in a humane and caring environment. It is expected that persons served will always be treated with dignity and respect. This means that, at the very least, the person will be free from mistreatment, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Confidentiality
UWEMA Quality Care will protect the privacy of individuals regarding personal information collected, maintained, used and/or disclosed. The following procedure mostly refers to written or hard copied material.
